About Us
A new twist on the usual "taste" event will take place in Providence this summer on Saturday, August 28, 2010 from 11AM-3PM. For just $35, you will receive a book of 10 Tastes to redeem at participating restaurants in Providence. With our handy restaurant map, Savor Providence will lead people right to the doorsteps of many of the hottest restaurants in and around the city. Some questions you might have about Savor Providence
- "How much food is a taste?"
- It will be up to each restaurant to decide on what portion a "taste" is, but the restaurants will surely aim to please each guest.
- "How many restaurants will be involved?"
- We expect 25-28 participating restaurants and retailers
- "How many items will each restaurant offer?"
- Each restaurant will provide at least 2 items (one may be a beverage.)
- "What happens if it rains?"
- Savor Providence will happen rain or shine, as all tastings will be held inside the restaurants.
- "When will I get my tickets & map?"
- Click here to DOWNLOAD your 2010 Restaurant Map and Menu! Tickets purchased in advance of August 13th will be mailed to your home two weeks prior to the event. Tickets purchased by phone will be held at your choice of either the Trinity Rep's box office or the Waterfire Cooking Demo Tent, Market Square, South Main Street. All tickets purchased online will be held at the Trinity Rep Box office on the day of the event. Both locations will also have a printed restaurant map the day of the event for all ticket holders.

Although Savor
Providence is a walking tour, there are complimentary parking options available.
In Town Parking has generously donated parking for Savor Providence
participants at its lots at 357 Westminster St., 122 Matthewson St., and 191
Weybosset St. Valet parking at restaurants is not included in ticket
price.
Since its founding in 1963, Trinity Repertory Company has been one of the most respected regional theaters in the country. Featuring the last permanent resident acting company in America, Trinity Rep presents a balance of world premiere, contemporary, and classic works for an estimated annual audience of approximately 135,000.
